playing the Terran campaign.
1. Set your space construction vehicles (SVC) to
gather minerals. To do this, you will
need to hold the shift key and click on each mineral so that they will not
hover at the same node at the same time.
On non-hacked maps, only one SCV can collect minerals at a time.
2. Continuously
build SCVs until you have enough to take with you once you are ready to expand
to another base.
3. After
building the 7th SCV, set out to build a supply depot at your choke
point. However, if there is no choke
point, you can make a supply depot anywhere you think it is appropriate. Once you have built the 9th SCV,
construct a refinery to be used for gathering ore.
4. Scout
for resources using the SCV you built the supply depot with. You can also opt to build barracks with the 7th
SCV. As much as possible, continue
building at your choke point. If you use
the 7th SCV to scout, use your 10th SCV to build the
barracks.
5. Once
the refinery is done, order two SCVs to gather minerals to be brought to the
refinery.
6. The
rest will depend on the situation. If
you are facing Zerg, for example, you need to build more marines and an
academy. You will need a factory and
vultures with mines, and Seige tanks when fighting Protoss. To fight Terran, on
the other hand, you will need a combination of Seige tanks and Wraiths.
